Does the IPhone 4 Take Themes?
Nope. Unfortunately Apple didn’t feel we should have the option to customise our phones in this way. It seems that Apple are control freaks. Don’t get me wrong, I love Apple, I own and iPhone 4 and have owned every iPhone that’s been released.
But I do feel they’re a little controlling and restricting, though maybe in some crazy way, that’s how they have managed to become to successful?
You can however jailbreak your iPhone, which will allow you to run an application called springboard, which gives you the power to apply themes, which you should be able to do on the iPhone by default. I don’t recommend jailbreaking your iPhone to get around paying for apps, but to give basic functionality, I think it’s OK.
Once you’ve jailbroke and installed Springboard you can then apply iPhone themes and begin giving your iPhone a complete makeover, not just the wallpaper but the icons, layout and much more.
